Accommodation consists of 2 large bedrooms situated at the front of the house, each with a double bed and an additional single bed, and 1 twin room which has a rear garden view

Description

The double rooms have outstanding views over the Firth of Clyde to Ardrossan Harbour and Marina and to the Isle of Arran. The twin room overlooks the rear garden

Each room is equipped with Freeview TV and tea and coffee making facilities. WiFi is also available.

Facilities

Burnfoot House can organise transport to ferry and airport terminals for you. Feel free to relax in the garden or stroll along the beach which is only yards away.

Off Road Parking is available. Early breakfast is available for guests who have an early flight or ferry to catch.

Places of Interest

Burnfoot House is ideally situated for visitors who are catching the Caledonian MacBrayne ferry "Caledonian Isles" to Arran or those who are arriving or departing from Glasgow Prestwick Airport. Arran has been described as "Scotland in Miniature" and is very popular with hillwalkers and cyclists. Ayrshire is a Golfer"s Paradise with numerous courses within minutes of Ardrossan including WestKilbride, Largs, Ravenspark, Bogside, Gailes, Dundonald, Barassie, Troon (3 courses), and also Royal Troon-- the home of the Open Golf championship in 2016. If horseracing takes your fancy then Ayr Racecourse is a 30 minute drive away. Sailors too will find us convenient for Ardrossan, Largs and Troon marinas For those interested in castles Portencross Castle is only 10 minutes away and Culzean Castle is 40 minutes by car.

Glasgow is only a 45 minute drive away, or use the frequent train service. It has excellent shopping centres, cultural centres, theatres and eating places An open top sightseeing bus tour is an excellent way of seeing some magnificent buildings and some of the best architecture in the UK.
