Burnfoot House is situated on the A738 just off the main A78. Convenient for those travelling by car and is 100yards from the nearest bus stops served by Stagecoach 585 Ayr to Greenock service. Ardrossan is served by three train stations and has a regular service between Glasgow and Largs. Opposite the house is a coastal cycle path / walkway which is very well used and skirts a beautiful part of the North Ayrshire coast. The coastal cycle path links up with the National Cycle Network. On a good day the Paps of Jura are visible away beyond Arran and Kintyre.


Accommodation consists of 2 large bedrooms situated at the front of the house, each with a double bed and an additional single bed, and 1 twin room which has a rear garden view.

All rooms have Freeview TV, WiFi internet access and tea and coffee making facilities.

Burnfoot House is ideally situated for visitors who are catching the Caledonian MacBrayne ferry "Caledonian Isles" to Arran or those who are arriving or departing from Glasgow Prestwick Airport, we can provide off Road Parking and can organise transport to ferry and airport terminals for you. Early breakfast is available for guests who have an early flight or ferry to catch. Glasgow is only a 45 minute drive away, or use the frequent train service. It has excellent shopping centres, cultural centres, theatres and eating places

Arran has been described as "Scotland in Miniature" and is very popular with hillwalkers. Ayrshire is a Golfer''s Paradise with numerous courses within minutes of Ardrossan including Royal Troon. If horseracing takes your fancy then Ayr Racecourse is a 30 minute drive away. Sailors too will find us convenient for Ardrossan, Largs and Troon marinas.
